I can only hope some of these find there way to us!
I Just got working the overlay map function, so you can view area tree houses. This will become a cool function as we populate the site with tree houses.
I slept in my tree house last night. My girlfriend was in town, and in typical fashion, when she is, I usually like to spend my night in our tree house. It is raining and almost snowing today, but when I woke up this morning, I noticed what looks like a leak coming from the base of the door in the corner. It is a very small amount, and I have had leaks in this area previously, but was hoping with my last caulk job, it would fix it. No such luck. If anyone is up for helping me trouble shoot, I would be happy to add a few pictures to the post. Anyway, thanks for the help.
I built my first tree house this last summer. I really didn’t know what I was getting into. I built it into a 75 foot Alanthis tree. This tree might be in the 90 -100 years old – I really don’t know, but would welcome any insight! As anyone knows who has built a tree house – they seem to teach you a lot. It took me 3 months to build. I have been in the roof trade for 10 years, and luck would have it, I am still working on fixing my front entrance, as it is south facing, and gets blasted by the weather. I was sitting in my tree house a few days ago and I got to thinking – I would like to connect with others who own tree houses, share ideas, stories, experiences, learn not what to do, locate tree house rentals, or swap or exchange my tree house with other owners. It doesn’t seem a whole lot of that exists, and I thought it would be a blast to connect any many tree house owners together, as we can. Build a unique network of peoples creations, all over the world!
